The problem
Farm records need to follow the working day: individual animals, mother–calf pairs, field movements, treatments, and market history. Those details are hard to keep connected across separate notes.

A cattle and farm application that connects animal records, notes, and photographs. Offline entry and reconnect syncing are part of the development work, so the experience can account for a working day with intermittent connectivity. It remains in private development.
AI-assisted engineering helps us iterate on the software and its workflows. The focus is a useful tool for the people doing the work, with checks around record handling and the interface. The preview is not a claim of an AI-powered livestock advisory service.
Use synthetic farm records to exercise offline work, reconnect syncing, and account separation. Inspect the resulting records as well as the interface. Update and recovery testing remain part of the release work.
Designing applications around field conditions: connected records, visible sync status, and explicit handling of work that has not reached the server yet.
A CLOSER LOOK / OFFLINE WORK
The development workflow keeps an entry and its sync state visible as connectivity changes.
Add a note or photograph to an animal’s record while working offline.
Saved on the deviceShow which entries are waiting so a saved record is not mistaken for a synced one.
Waiting to syncSync when the connection returns and confirm the record reached the right farm.
Sync confirmedWorkflow illustration of the development app, not a live farm record or product screenshot.
WHAT WE HAVE CHECKED
Development checks have exercised offline notes and photos, reconnect syncing, and separation between accounts and farms on a physical phone in regular Safari.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Safe-update, recovery, and release testing continue. Field & Herd remains in private development; these checks are not a claim of public-release readiness.
